Advent and Christmas:  An opportunity to talk about Advent and Christmas customs. There will also be a chance to make some of the items used during this time of year.

 

Craft Fair:  1st Saturday in December which in 2015 is December 5. 8.00 am to 2.00 pm

 

Flea Market & Craft Fair:  Normally the 1st Saturday in June. However, for 2015 we are joing the US Highway 50 (Lincoln Highway) National Yard Sale.  The event covers three days May 15, 16 & 17. St. Hugh's will host the event on Friday and Saturday  May 15 & 16.  Hours are from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm  Tables are $5 per day and can be "booked" by calling the Administrator, Norma, at (775) 577-9606

 

FREE BREAKFAST: 1st Wednesday of each month starting at 8:30 am.  If the 1st Wednesday is a holiday, then it will move to the 2nd Wednesday.

 

Interreligious Services:  These are held at the Desert Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Topaz Street in Silver Springs to commemorate Memorial Day (last Monday in May), Patriots Day (September 11th), and Veterans Day (November 11th).

 

Potluck Suppers:  We have these suppers periodically, so we can meet and spend time with other residents of Silver Springs and Stagecoach.

 

Praying for all Animals:  Once a year, on a Saturday close to the Feast of St. Assisi, we pray for all animals.  On the day itself, October 4th, we go to the local Animal Shelter to pray for all animals in residence there.  The services at St. Hugh's and the Shelter will be on October 3rd.
